If you are a thrifty shopper like me, then you are already a regular at your local Thrift Store. But did you know that you can donate stuff and shop the ASPCA Thrift Store online?

Every animal deserves a friendly home—and so does your unused stuff! We all have items that we have held onto for too long and are just itching to discard. At the same time, we also need new things but want to have the opportunity to give back while we purchase.

Just in time for the holidays, the ASPCA is being featured as one of the signature charities participating in WebThriftStore, a new online marketplace where users can buy and sell items to benefit the ASPCA. When a user selects the ASPCA as their charity of choice, 80 percent of the sale price of each donated item goes to the ASPCA.

The process is simple. Almost any tangible item priced between $5 and $5,000 can be donated, including books, clothing, furniture and electronics. Donors may receive tax deductions, and buyers can shop for bargains while contributing to a worthy cause. All transactions can be posted to any social media platform with the click of a button, allowing users to share news of their charitable giving and advocate for the ASPCA.

To get started, please visit the ASPCA WebThriftStore. Happy shopping!
