In March of 2011, my 28 year old daughter lost her legs due to complications from Addison’s disease. The decision to amputate her legs was the only way to save her life. After 41 days of ICU, another week in the hospital, 15 days of rehab and months of rehab, she is on her way to her new life in her wheelchair and prosthetics.
In October of 2014 we were able to get her a car with hand controls which has allowed her a great sense of independence. She can break her wheelchair down and easily put in the car but was worried the sharp parts may rip the leather seats. I purchased one of your pet seat covers to protect her seats.
