Everyone knows it’s impossible to go shopping at Target without making at least one impulse purchase…it’s a scientific fact. Well, over the weekend I went to buy a few things for reorganizing my home office area and ended up in the pet aisle (of course).

I found this awesome $2 gadget (it was on sale for $1.69 but I don’t know for how long). Anyway, it’s the Boots & Barkley Slow Feed Accessory Plug and you can find it at your local Target store or buy it online here.

It fits in just about any bowl, and has a suction cup on the back so it sticks in place, but spins around as your dog eats.

Daisy has several different types of slow feeders and interactive feeders, and we rotate between them, but sometimes it’s just easier to use her bowl. We worry about her eating her food too quickly because it can be unhealthy and even dangerous for dogs to eat too fast, so I’m super happy to have discovered this cheap little gadget and thought I’d share!
