As we’ve mentioned before, Daisy has been a long-time subscriber to BarkBox and she gets the Large Dog subscription Box. Many of you have said you’d like it if we could also show everybody what’s inside the Small Dog Box, and we think that’s a great idea!

We’ve arranged to have the Small Dog BarkBox sent to us so that we can compare and help out our little fur kid pals…hopefully once your parents see how great the Small Dog toys and treats are, they will be ready to get YOU your own BarkBox, too! Be sure to see the end of this post for a FREE BarkBox coupon just for our readers. Whatever your size, every dog deserves a BarkBox of toys, treats and surprises!

January Small Dog BarkBox
Each month, BarkBox sends subscribers a delivery of hand-picked toys, treats and other dog goodies, all based on a cute and clever theme. The January theme is all about travel. Here’s what was in the January Small Dog BarkBox we received. Keep in mind that your BarkBox will be customized for your dog’s size and allergies so items may vary:

As you can see, this month’s Small Dog BarkBox is a great value! With subscriptions starting at $21 per month for all size dogs, it’s a great way to discover new dog toys, treats and goodies without spending full retail store prices.

In addition to being a great value, we also love how the toys and treats are customized especially for Small, Medium and Large dogs. The treats are a more manageable size for smaller dogs (although we always break out treats into little pieces anyway). And the toys are sized appropriately for little dogs, but still made to be fun and durable because small dogs play hard, too!

Here’s a photo so you can compare the difference in size. The Orbee Globe Ball Dog Toy on the left is the SMALL and the one on the right is the LARGE. The larger one is at least 2 years old and still in great shape even though Daisy plays with it frequently, so you can also see what great quality the BarkBox toy selections are!

BarkBox Coupon Code: WOOFWOOFMAMA gets you a FREE BarkBox added to any plan! Choose 1 month, 6 or 12 months and customize a plan for your dog’s size and allergies and your dog will get a monthly box of fun and surprises. Visit BarkBox HERE to learn more and get started.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to travel more, then get ready to pack your bags. The January BarkBox theme is ‘Pup In The Air’ and is all about traveling, with trip-related goodies…including your pup’s very own passport!

BarkBox is the number 1 subscription box service for dogs, and Daisy’s been getting the monthly Large Dog BarkBox for several years now.  Each month we show you what toys and treats are inside that month’s BarkBox, and how the total value of the individual items compares to the price of a monthly subscription. If you’ve got a Small Dog, stay tuned because we’ll be reviewing the BarkBox for small dogs this month, too! Remember that each BarkBox subscription is customized for your dog’s size and allergies, so individual items will vary.

Here’s what was in Daisy’s Large Dog BarkBox for January 2017:

Hundur’s Crunch Fish Treats for Dogs ($7 retail value): These are from our pals at Plato Pet Treats and are sustainably sourced from cold, clean Icelandic waters. 100% natural and made with only two ingredients: Cod skin and Golden Redfish skin. Daisy LOVES anything fishy, so these are a BIG hit. A taste of Iceland without the jetlag!

Snack Rings with Lamb & Cheddar Dog Treats ($6 retail value): Speaking of jets, these American-made dog treats are fit for First Class! All-natural chewy bites will keep your dog happy whether you’re taking a road trip or having a stay-cation at home.

Crunchy Duck Chew for Dogs ($3 retail value): From the fine folks at Etta Says! and one of Daisy’s favorite chew treats. We never mind getting a repeat of this item. American made and great for teeth, gums and happiness.

Large Duffel Bag Dog Toy ($12 retail value): This duffel bag’s got everything your dog needs for an adventure: a tough nylon shell, fun thrashin’ straps, and two surprises packed inside. Meet your dog’s new favorite carry-on. Even if the duffel bag gets destroyed (TSA is BRUTAL), your dog keeps the good times growling with two tennis balls inside. Three toys in one!

Ripley’s Runaway Rucksack Dog Toy ($10 retail value): This super cute squeaky dog toy is fun to throw and fetch. When Daisy carries it around in her mouth, it looks like she’s packed up her belongings and is ready to run away to grandma’s house!

By our calculation, this month’s BarkBox had $38 worth of toys and treats. A great value when you consider that subscription prices start at $21/month.
