We’ve rescued before! Our Brady boy is a full blooded Rescue ;D

  2. I didn’t rescue my beagle, but I try to make up for it by supporting local rescues by volunteering and fostering dogs until they find furever homes.  I just had 3 back-to-back successful fosters!  We’re taking a short break, but plan to foster again soon!  I get attached to the dogs, but it’s wonderful to know they’re going home to families who will love and care for them in a way they’ve never known before.

  3. Great giveaway, thanks! I <3 rescue dogs!

  4. katrina kissinger says

this would be awesome to win

  5. Chelsea Place says

Awesome prize pack, nice to see celebrities reach out and educate on animal cruelty since they have high exposure and can reach quite a few people.

  6. I am very passionate about adoption! Every dog I’ve ever had has been an adoption/rescue.  I have fostered dogs for a local shelter in the past and it was an amazing experience. We donate money, blankets and toys to local shelters every year and also try to attend events our local shelter s host as much a possible. This cause is very near and dear to my heart! These babies need homes! ADOPT DON’T SHOP!

  7. I have adopted two homeless dogs! they are wonderful!!

  8. Kassie Harris says

I volunteer with my local shelter and I’ve adopted several dogs in the past!

  9. i have adopted 2 rescue doggies .  Even though our second  and current rescue  had problems with other people and other animals , even though she was only 4 months old when we got her . We were not giving up on her and we had a dog  behavorist  come to our home to help her and us with her temperment .  We all figured she was afraid of people because she was probably abused, teased and tormented as a puppy roaming the streets  and I knew if I sent her back to the rescue she would be unadoptable .  And now we have had her for 4 years and she is so lovable and such a good girl…but we still have to watch her sometimes because we know she could snap . But she is our lil wubba  girl !!

  10. Darlene Owen says

I have never adopted a pet but I do donate at fundraisers for pet adoptions.

  11. 2 of our 3 dogs are rescues. We have a 3 month old rescue shepherd mix and I’ve volunteered for greyhound and springer spaniel rescue

  12. laurie nykaza says

We have 3 rescue dogs and 4 cats. We also donate  products to our local shelter and give $ to the ones that come 2x a year for our big adoption event there . I raised $$$$ for a dog rescue through the work I do. Think outside the box I did my usual work and the people bid for me to work for them on Facebook they held the bidding.  The people payed the money to the non profit  rescue  and raised thousands for dogs in need.

  13. monica Ramsey says

I have adopted 2 dogs and 2 cats from  our local shelter in the past few years. We just adopted a Whippet/Lab mix last year.  Adopting from the shelter saves a life and you know when a dog or cat is adopted, they are spade/ neutered and usually a mix breed, so they are smart loving animals. I always tell people to look at their local shelters when they’re adding a pet to their family.

  14. Linda Szymoniak says

Oh, I definitely support adoption over buying a dog.  I have five Treeing Walker Coonhounds that are all rescues  I love the breed so much and know I can’t have any more of my own, so I started my own hound rescue – Hearts and Hounds Rescue.  We’ve saved some great dogs!

  15. rebeccabasset says

I have rescued Basset Hounds, and I have also adopted other Dog’s, I also currently support the A.S.P.C.A., and I have given to the Basset Hound Shelter near here. Although I used to Breed Basset Hounds, there are enough Dog’s, and Puppy’s, in the World that need good Homes.

    Thanks for the Giveaway!

  16. Dawn Diehl says

all 4 of our puppies are rescues

  17. Cheryl Chervitz says

We have 4 dogs, 3 of them were rescued from shelters.  We are also fostering a 13 year old Min Pin right now.  I try to volunteer at the shelters around me.  Pet adoption is very important, there are too many pets out there that need homes.

  18. Danielle Murgia says

I adopted both my cat and my dog.  Sissy (the dog) is adorable and i was so happy I got her as an adult 🙂

  19. Jason Diehl says

I always donate money to animal charities. I am attending a doggie wedding next week where all the proceeds will be going to a rescue.  I try to attend many doggie events that support charities during the year.  And I hope to soon be able to adopt a dog!

  24. Linda Meyers-Gabbard says

I support pet adoption because it the right thing to do.

  31. Chelsea Place says

ASPCA does a great job, good for Rachael Ray supporting them!

  32. Vicki Furrin (on r/copter form) says

Vicki, my current four-legged baby was adopted when she was about 6 mths old [she’s 11].  I am very pro-adoption, do a lot of pinning and cross-posting of dogs across the US who are up for adoption at rescues, shelters and on death row at high kill shelters [on my Vicki Vix Facebook page, GFC, etc.]  Also pin and share petitions on puppy mills, rescues, and all animal-welfare and animal rights issues.  I do plan to adopt another Springer Spaniel this year or next year, and I am also thinking of contacting a near-by rescue about fostering small breed or senior dogs.  Can’t do anything that requires a large fenced yard unfortunately.

  33. Sandy McFadden says

I think pet adoption is great………….you can give some great pets a second chance at having a great life.

  34. brandi hawn says

i usually log around 1500 hours of volunteer hours at my animal shelter every year and i’m constantly trying to find ppl to adopt the animals that are up there 🙂

  35. I have always adopted all my pets (or they adopted me) and I share pets from all over the country every day that are looking for homes. I support all my local fundraisers and even online ones. This economy has made many people unable to keep their animals and many organizations are getting less financial support.

  36. Kimberly Schotz says

    We have adopted several times

  37. Sharon Gilbert says

I rescued Skipper.  I also donate and support our local shelter.

  38. Julie Lynn Bickham says

I have adopted a couple rescue pets in the past.

  39. Diane Rose says

I have adopted many cats and kittens in my lifetime. The last cat I drove 3 hours to get from a kill shelter because I saw her picture on their website and she was 5 months old and they had so many kittens there that were going fast and no one wanted to adopt her, so I did. It has been 2 years and I love her so much and she loves us.

  40. Christina Tong says

It is meaningful to support and adopt pets, I would like to at least spread the word and encourage friends to adopt pets.

  41. Kelly Ann T. says

I support rescue and I have adopted two large mixed breed fur-kids. I also volunteer for a local rescue group and I go to the local fundraising events too.

  42. I adopted my first dog this year in January. I LOVE her! Adopting means I can spend more money to spoil her!
    xo

  43. I have only adopted my dogs.  I have had three total, but only have 1 now.  Adopting is so important because the shelters are so overcrowded.

  44. I adopted my beautiful Cheyenne 3 years ago from a wonderful rescue group. I will continue to choose rescue first in the future, and hope to someday foster as well. I donate items routinely to local rescue groups. I volunteer with my new local pet food pantry. For a while I volunteered as a application screener for the rescue group I adopted Cheyenne from, until my work schedule made me unable to continue.

  45. Michelle Tucker says

We adopted our kitty when she was about 6 weeks old. She’s 5 now and doing amazing. It’s funny, the previous posters animal is Cheyenne, and ours is too!

  46. Sherry Dornblaser says

Absolutely I support the adoption of animals.  I adopted two mutts and plan on adopting one more when we move within the next year to a larger house.  I love big dogs!
