The Chengdu Pambassador Program is looking for panda-lovers who are passionate about supporting panda conservation by becoming the new Chengdu Pambassadors, or Panda Ambassadors. Last week, the Chengdu Panda Base launched PandaQuest, a competition starting on Facebook!

The three Chengdu Pambassadors will have the unique opportunity to tour the world over five to six months and visit to help spread the word about Panda Conservation efforts.

There is still time to enter yourself as a 2012 #Pambassador Candidate and make it to the semi-Finals in Washington, DC October 15th – 17th!

  2. All I know about panda’s is that they look cute and cuddly and that they love bamboo. =)

  3. More than 300 pandas live in zoos and breeding centers are the world, only about 1,600 are left in the wild.

  5. I know that Pandas aren’t the cute cuddly little animals people perceive them as being! I have seen them at
    our local zoo.  I’d like to know if scientists have been able to figure out a way to preserve bamboo forests and increase them to sustain the Pandas.

    I know Pandas are endangered and live in China.. They do look cuddly but they are a bear.

  14. I’ve seen pandas a few times at the zoo. Their babies are born very tiny, hairless and helpless.
