  1. Danielle Murgia says

Sissy is part cocker spaniel so she has long fur on her legs that tangles easily.  She came from an abused home and it is very hard to brush her because she is afraid of the brush.  The only way I have found to brush her is to brush the cat and then she gets really jealous that she is not getting the attention she wants and lets me brush her for a short amount of time.

  2. Valerie Simko says

Cooper is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, all that long (beautiful) hair becomes quite the challenging task if we do not keep up with weekly brushing, and twice a month baths (of course brushing BEFORE bathtime so the tangles do not set) 🙂 However this prize would a be a huge win for Cooper AND his very own Woof Woof Mama, seeing how crazy the holidays can get — it would be super helpful to win this for a holiday groom when my to-do list fills!

  3. A great tip is to brush daily and give baths every few days.

  4. My pup, Libby, has very sensitive skin, so it’s hard for us to groom her at home. I take her in once a month for her “spa day” so that she can have the works done for her 🙂 This would make her day! 🙂

    Thanks for a great giveaway!

  5. I can’t getr the nails trimmed as short as we need them to be. There;’s a nails sound when our dog walks on the floor.

  6. I have three dogs so grooming is expensive, this would be great to win! Thanks for the chances!

  7. Gina Brickell says

I have a pomeranian and my biggest challenge is keeping up with the knots she gets in her fur!  I’m forever having to shave her and brush her.. Would love a good grooming!

  8. Our Shih Tzu’s coat is very high maintenance – and very worth it 😀

  9. Haley Prather (Kasprzyk) says

We bathe about once a month and my biggest challenge is keeping his nails trimmed.

  10. My dog loves, loves, LOVES to roll in the grass and leaves any time, but especially when he is clean. It’s hard to keep him that way!

  11. Jennifer Hill says

    Brush him every day

  12. Kelly Ann T. says

I give my dog supplements to keep his coat in healthy shape, and we feed him a healthy diet too.

  13. Desiree Dunbar says

Our fur baby Bailen is a constantly going dog. He has non-stop energy and loves to play catch but has a tendency to run through the swampy areas around our house and get filthy!!

  14. Jennifer Boehme says

I have the hardest time giving my dog a bath. I have to carry her to the tub as she is scared but my back is getting so bad that I can’t do it any more, so this would be nice!

  15. We always go to PetSmart for the dog’s grooming, and see the same person every time. It really helps the dogs to see someone they trust. We love the Furminator treatment- it really helps with all the Sheltie and Collie shedding!

  16. Megan Watts says

My dog has curly black fur, we shave it in the summer and finger-comb it in the winter. And brush around his face and paws, of course!

  17. Jenna Parsons says

We have an elderly Japanese Chin named Simon, he is epileptic and he has a hard time getting around and remembering where he is half the time, I think he deserves to be pampered. Also, my tip is that each breed is unique, especially in the fur department, do your research on the grooming needs of your dog

  18. Dawn Oxendine says

I do dachshund rescue. I have one that was beat up by a great dane three times. She’s afraid of everything now. She doesn’t like anyone messing with her. Her hide was ripped off. She now has a seam. Petsmart is so good with her. I would love to give this to her.

  19. richelle bowers says

i keep vaseline on my shiatzus eyes to keep from staining

  20. brush every day

  21. Bentley’s beauty challenge is keeping his fur from becoming matted and the hair on his face from blocking his eyes.

  22. My favorite grooming tools to use on my cats are a FURminator and a basic slicker brush.

  23. Our Gracie gets matted so easily!

  24. Dona Keyton says

I have two long hair Yorkies, and I have always been the one to groom, because I can not afford the luxury of going to a groomer. I would love to see them professionally groomed. I have just been diagnosed with
RA and it is affecting my hands. I would hate to have to cut their beautiful hair off.

  25. debbie kanastab says

Taffy’s biggest challenge is her nails, they grow so fast.

  26. sandy weinstein says

pinterest is not working, keep getting error

  27. My biggest challenge with Roxy is her nails and her letting me clean her ears, the hardest part for molly is picking her up to get her in the bathtub

  28. krista grandstaff says

I have a terrier that thinks he is pig pen… as soon as he has a bath he rolls in the dirt…right now, it is leaves 🙂 I think a trim to his curly coat would sharpen him up and make it a little easier to get the leaves off of him… brushing them now just seems to make it look like his roly-poly body has been rolled in confetti!

  29. My biggest challenge with Dexter is clipping his nails! He HATES it. When he goes to doggy day care, they usually take care of it for me. It’s a two person job!

  30. Our dogs biggest issue is that he is a Shih Poo (Shih Tzu and Poodle mix) and so his fur is very thick, grows fast and is curly. We try our hardest to keep him brushed and washed but its hard with the way his fur is.

  31. We usually keep up with brushing/bathing ourselves, but when the seasons change it really helps to let the professionals do the work to transition the coat and cut over from hot/cold and back again! I know our dog really appreciates it.

  32. To keep our dogs looking nice we brush every day and bathe them regularly.

  33. I am actually entering this for my cat. Yep. Part Himalayan…she needs “bloomer” cuts regularly or she gets poop stuck in her fur. Not fun, for her or us!

  34. we brush the kids every day….and bathe when they need it, once or twice a month

  35. Gizmo is a little long-haired chihuahua, and usually gets bathed once a week, and brushed several times a week.  I have never had him professionally groomed, since his fur is very manageable.  My challenge is trimming his nails.  Neither one of us like it at all…lol! I would love to take him in and have his little nails done by the groomer, and perhaps trim a little hair from his ears. thanks!

  36. My lab has very dry, itchy skin, so its important for us to remember his fish oil every day to keep him flake free!

  37. Theresa Spaid says

Oshunta’s long hair matts easily. She has a lot of it.

  38. I keep (one of) my babies looking her best by feeding her homemade food. I also give her an oatmeal bath once a week.

  39. I Aunt to 3 chocolate labs brothers…lots of nail trimmings!!!

  40. Cheryl Chervitz says

I have Boston Terrier’s, so I can wipe them down with a wipe or a cloth to keep them clean between bath’s.  I also wash there face everyday to get the tear stains.

  41. dawn rasor says

I have 2 rough collies! Needless to say, we have a lot of long fur to deal with! I groom them lightly each week and then every couple weeks I do a more thorough job complete with trimming their feet with electric trimmers, clipping toe nails, etc. I use a rake for their undercoats, a slicker brush, a tangle remover comb and when we have a bath I use a whitening shampoo for their white areas, a puppy no tears formula for heads and a conditioning formula for bodies. Then after lots of rinsing I use a doggie conditioner and then lots more rinsing. The it’s outside on the grooming table for blow drying and brushing out. I could really use this prize!!!

  42. My tip is to groom your long-haired pet daily – at least to run a comb through his/her hair. I have a Dachsie- Chihuahua with whom I’m trying to develop this habit. Daisy has such a thick coat and a combing makes her look so much better, and I’m sure feel much better too. She’s the one who would get the PetSmart grooming if I win. It would make my little wild girl gorgeous!

  43. My tip is to brush once a day. I have a Lhasa Apso…and with all that hair – and a double coat…it is something we have to do. Having a nice grooming would be awesome!

  44. I try to brush my fur baby every day, and dry her when she gets wet. If not her hair curls up just like ours!

  45. I brush him alot and that helps him shed the loose stuff faster.

  46. I give him an egg a couple times a week, it helps keep his coat shiny

  47. My doggie Atticus has long fur (especially on his feet), so we keep wipes by the door to keep him from tracking all kinds of stuff in the house. Sometimes I’m amazed at how grody the wipes look afterward!

  48. raw egg in my dogs food to keep his coat shiny

  49. I have a cat and he’s so scared of taking a bath so i need some help giving him one. and also need help with trimming his nails.

  50. We have a problem with our dogs in our muddy backyard full of clay! An afternoon playing gets us all messy!

  51. Andrea Darst says

My shepherd/collie mix gets mats behind his ears and we are a one income house right now so it’s a bit between grooms…longer than I’d like. Winning this would help tremendously!

  52. Allison Lancaster says

My cat needs a major grooming. His fur is matted up and parts of it is really long to the point where he chokes while grooming himself, which scares me because he panics and I can’t help him.

  53. We have a huge maine coon who does not clean himself very well!

  54. jenny green says

I bathe my dog once a week to keep her coat nice and clean

  55. Tiffany Mary Cecilia says

My biggest fur kid problem is that he’s part poodle and hates being brushed so he gets matted.

  56. Well, I would have to say our biggest beauty challenge for pets is getting the dog in the tub… haha

    • LOL! Ours too! Daisy love jumping in the tub when it’s empty and not bath day but as soon as she hears the water running on Sunday evening she hides!

  57. Susan Smith says

My biggest beauty challenge for pets is getting my dog to site still so I can brush her

  58. Megan Parsons says

The biggest beauty challenge is clipping their nails!

  59. my dog love grommer here she give him goodies she does not have any peeve aobut
getting groomed or gettng nail and teet clean

  60. my dog has dry skin

    sibabe64 at ptd dot net

  61. Samantha Meyer says

Ours is to have our dog let us cut her nails, she wont let us!!

  62. My pet’s biggest beauty challenge is his long and curly white hair that grows like a “Chia Pet”. His breed is a Maltese/King Charles Cocker Spaniel mix. Being unemployed, I cannot afford to take him to the groomers, so I have to manually cut his hair with scissors and it takes me over 2 hours (and a backache) to get him trimmed down – but within one month, I have to do it all over again….. Gotta love my Pup-Pup though! 🙂

  63. Kellie Rose Wilson says

My dogs nails grow fast and are very difficult to cut as they sometimes imbed into his skin.

  64. TIP ~ I use a Dremel to cut my doggies nails…It’s quick and easy

  65. meegan whitford says

keili is part pug and part rat terrior and she sheds every day and hates to be brushed she also hates to have her nails trimmed

  66. CindyLu’s always struggling with matting – the longer her hair grows, the more it’s likely to mat!

  67. Carren Larsen says

We have a Husky. Her biggest challenge is the shedding she does in the warmer months. It’s terrible, she always needs to be shaved.

  68. Michelle Spayde says

My Pomeranian’s biggest grooming challenge is her dense double coat that grows like a weed. The coarse texture makes it very difficult to manage without regular professional grooming.
