  4. Katie Amanda says

After having rescued pit bull type dogs from death row who were likely abused and not cared for in the past, I’ve learned to forgive unconditionally as they have.  They are wonderful beings who show me love each and every day. Thanks!

  5. Cheryl Chervitz says

My pets have taught me about unconditional love.  I never thought that an animal would be so important to me, but they are like my babies.

  6. Leonardo has taught me to be patient and still; then he will come to me and bless me with his purring being.

I am lead to constantly Be In The Moment! To stop rushing. To smell the roses or whatever is in your path in the here and now. Being alive for the moment my pets teach me daily!!!

  8. Karla Gutierrez-Pugh says

What an awesome book! Our rescue dog rescued us. I see the world in an entirely different way after she came into our lives.

  9. My dogs, both homeless rescues, have taught me about love, boundaries, and forgiveness.

  10. Theresa Spaid says

They love you no matter what, during good and hard times. They appreciate anything it doesn’t have to be something expensive.

  11. Shiloh teaches me constantly to just live in the moment. He is always so happy and ready to do anything, as long as we’re doing something. Cheyenne balances us out and teaches me the value of relaxing, and just being happy to be cuddling with her. Before I got the two of them, I was easily stressed out. Now, no matter how depressed or anxious or angry I am, I see them and immediately stop, take a breath, scratch them behind the ears, and forget everything in exchange sitting down with one pup curled up at my side and the other dropping a toy in my lap to play. No matter what- with them, life is good.

  12. sandy weinstein says

my 3 girls have taught me so much, first of i cant imagine my life w/out them. i would rather be around my dogs than humans, i tell my friends i am going to become one of those crazy dog people….sometimes i dont leave my house for 1-2 wks (i live in the country) and dont see a human for a week. they give me unconditional love, have reinforced my total love that animals are so much better than most humans…and smarter…

  13. My pets have taught me to appreciate the simple things…a warm place to live (or cool in summer lol) and food to eat.

  14. My rescued babies give me a reason to live. They love so unconditionally and are always happy to see you and be near you.

  15. To enjoy the little things!

  16. my babies have taught me to kick back and relax
