We think you are very lucky that you can stay in a hotel… it’s not nearly as common a practice in Australia.
I spent a lot of time in Australia and didn’t realize hotels weren’t dog friendly! I guess I don’t remember seeing many, come to think of it!
Looks like she was the perfect lady.
She was better behaved than we expected! It was her Daddy’s first marathon so we were all pretty excited!
Pet friendly hotels are great, we’ve stayed at the same one a few times when visiting family. I think the nice part about it is that the pets are allowed but the hard part is keeping them quiet when they hear unfamiliar noises they want to bark!
That was our issue with Daisy, Emily! She also freaked out and howled at the maid because of the cart (she’d never seen one before and didn’t know what it was) and I felt SO bad! But everyone was really understanding and helpful.
YES I did many times. Best part was the free fruits apples and BANANAS. Happy BP Wordless Wednesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
LOL! We snagged some extra bananas from the free hotel breakfast buffet too, Sugar!
It’s nice to see more hotels offering dogs to stay over.
I agree! We would hate for her to have missed the fun!
She looks like she made herself right at home! We have never stayed at hotel with Bentley but I’d love to travel with him.
It went really well for our first time. We took lots of familiar items from home so she’d feel comfortable!
She looks so happy! Katie is fine with a hotel. I like to sniff around but I don’t like all the odd noises going on that I can’t investigate. Bailie has been twice now and had a real hard time sleeping because she wanted to get out in the hall and check things out all the time. We will continue to go to hotels and hopefully be as relaxed as Katie one day.
I hope we get to do it more often so Daisy can get relaxed, too. She did well but was a little loud and jumpy!
Looks like Daisy is living the life!
She loved all the extra attention she got from everyone there!
You look like quite the little traveler, Daisy, and congratulations to your dad on his first marathon. I’ve been to New Orleans several times with my humans. We stay in a pet-friendly hotel in the Warehouse District, which is pretty close to the French Quarter–but a little quieter and with more green space, if you know what I mean. 🙂 Last year I was there to watch my daddy run a marathon!
That sounds like FUN! Woof Woof Papa and I LOVE going to New Orleans but haven’t been since we got Daisy.
Aw she looks so excited about it!
