In case you are new to the blog, or just hadn’t heard about BarkBox, it’s the most popular dog subscription box services around, and one of our favorite things. If you’d like to try it, you can get a FREE extra month added to any order of 1-month or more when you use BarkBox coupon code WOOFWOOFMAMA at BarkBox.com. Or read on to learn more!

Each BarkBox is customized for your dog’s size as well as any food allergies, and shipping is free in the US. Every month’s BarkBox has an original theme with 2 cute toys and 3 tasty treats.

Note that this is the Classic BarkBox edition which usually includes plush toys. If your dog is a real toy destroyer then check out the BarkBox Super Chewer edition instead.

Time to unbox and review this month’s BarkBox, and we are LOVING the tropical vibe! Living in South Florida, we are always ready to enjoy some sun and sand, but the toys and treats made us feel like we are on Spring Break…Daisy put on her Hawaiian Shirt, so you know she is ready to party!

The theme for the February BarkBox Classic was Paradise Unleashed and it did NOT disappoint.  Here’s a look at what was in the February Classic BarkBox along with the retail values of each item if purchased separately:

February BarkBox Dog Toys

Penny the Pineapple Dog Toy ($14 retail value) This is one of those BarkBox originals that is 2-toys-in-1. It’s got a spikey ball and crinkle material, plus a hidden bonus toy inside. I can’t wait til Daisy rips into hers so we can see what we got!

Cecil’s SeaShell Dog Toy ($14 retail value) This squeaky toy is too cute. It’s also got a spikey ball core and Daisy loves the fuzzy part!

February BarkBox Dog Treats

Tiki Treats from Healthy Dogma ($8 retail value) These pork and pineapple dog treats are made in the USA without wheat, corn, or soy. Wholesome and delicious (according to Daisy).
Beast of the Feast Dog Treats ($10 retail value) Feels like we are at a luau with these pork and apple dog treats! Also made in the USA without wheat, corn, or soy.
Doggie Biscotti ($4 retail value) This tough chew is packed with protein. It’s 100% pork hide with no fillers, by-products or preservatives. Made in the USA, from the folks at SawMill Creek.

Be aware that as a BarkBox customer, if you ever receive a toy or treat that doesn’t meet your standards, you can contact BarkBox and they will send a free replacement. It’s part of their Scout’s Honor satisfaction guarantee, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the service we’ve received in the 6 or so years we’ve been subscribers!

BarkBox Cost and Value

By our calculation, this month’s BarkBox had $50 worth of dog toys and  treats if you were to purchase them all separately. That’s a great value when you consider that subscription prices start at $21/month with free US shipping. In addition to saving money, we also love the WOW-factor and excitement of getting a new delivery of surprises each month. It’s a chance to discover new dog treats and toys that we might not have known about otherwise.

This BarkBox is so fun and totally put us in the vacay mood! It even came included a resort ‘brochure’ instead of the usual info card. Love the extra attention to detail.
