I recently told you about Sweet Relish, the new social shopping community, and how they are helping rescue dogs by making a donation of $1 for each new subscriber when you join. It’s super fun, very similar to Pinterest, and just as addictive! If you missed it, you can read all about it here.
Several of you wanted to know more about the Sweet Relish Box we received, based on the “Adopted Dog Take Home List” we created using Sweet Relish. We’re super excited about it because the rescue group we’re supporting, Have a Heart, will receive the same box for sweet boy Luther to take home with him when he’s adopted…hopefully VERY soon! It’s important to get a good fit since it’s the gentle pressure of the shirt that creates the calming effect. I don’t know about you, but I’d pay any price to make Daisy feel relaxed and prevent the stress and anxiety so many dogs suffer from.

Daisy wears her Thundershirt whenever we have a noisy thunderstorm, during car rides if she seems extra anxious that day, and when we are out in a loud and crowded environment. Since this weekend is the Final Four weekend for men’s basketball games, it’s the perfect time to use it, since we like to hang out on the patio of our favorite sports bar and watch big games with all the other sports fans. Lots of cheering and shouting but Daisy stays pretty relaxed when bundled in her Thundershirt…plus she gets extra attention from everyone wanting to know about it!
