Have you tried getting groceries delivered yet? There are more and more stores participating in this growing trends, and plenty of reasons why it’s becoming so popular.

Not only can you save time and hassle by ordering online and letting someone bring your items to you, but you can also save money. By shopping through a service like Instacart, you can compare prices and plan meals from your home computer or through an easy app right on your phone. I look at what’s on sale and then plan my meal prep around it. I also compare between different stores to see who has the best price on more expensive items I need to restock.

Stores participating will vary by location, but in our area, we’ve got Petco, The Fresh Market, Costco, Aldi and more. Prices are usually the same as in-store and you can see all the available sale prices, coupons and offers as you shop online. I find it a real time and money saver.

Most orders will be delivered in 1-2 hours, but you can always choose your own delivery time to coordinate with your schedule. Your shopper will message you through the app if any item on your list is out of stock or if they need to ask your preference about an item.

Before you order, always check the Coupons and Free Delivery Offers at the top of the store page. You can save extra money by getting Free Delivery (usually $3.99-$8.99) when you add certain items to your order. I often find items I was planning to order anyway or take the opportunity to try something new. Just remember to tip your shopper in the app when you order.
