Daisy has the regular size Kyjen Hide-A-Squirrel toy and we have SO much fun playing with it. I say “we” because it’s one of those toys that needs some supervision for most dogs, otherwise they just chew it all up. We sit on the floor together and practice skills like “drop it” and “leave it” and sometimes I hide the individual squirrels all around the room and then call her in to find them. It’s really interactive and super good for teaching your dog impulse control and how games work.
It’s a GREAT toy and I was over on Amazon today to pick one up as a gift for one of Daisy’s pals when I saw that they come in different sizes now. There’s the Junior, the Jumbo and the Ginormous versions and then there’s the extremely ginormous Anniversary Edition shown above. Go HERE to see them all and read the 2,300+ 5-Star Reviews.
The Kyjen Hide-A-Squirrel Puzzle Toy for Dogs, Anniversary Edition is on sale right now for $62.99 ($99.99 reg) with FREE Shipping included. If that’s beyond your dog toy budget, I totally understand…the other sizes range from $7-$20 and are just as much fun!
