There’s a new Daily Deals site that I just signed up for and want to share with you! It’s called DailyScoup and the concept is very simple. They feature local, online, and national offers. You can reserve the offer for only $1, which is called a “Scoupon”. Each Scoupon has a full description and all the fine print you need to know before deciding if you want to buy it for $1. Then, you simply redeem your Scoupon with the merchant and pay them directly for their offer. For example, if a Scoupon is Buy 1 – Get 1 Free, you pay $1 for the Scoupon and then use the Scroupon voucher or promo code at the store or online at checkout to pay for one item and get the other one free.

It’s completely FREE to join and view all the daily deals you want. You only pay the $1 for any deals you’d like to take advantage of. They are also starting a morning meal deal notification to let you know about lunch deals that day! Free 12 month Quilting classes from Craftsy

Daisy loves all kinds of pillows, blankets and quilts and has pretty much claimed all of ours as her own. So this Free Beginner’s Series from Craftsy caught my eye. I’ve always been intimidated by the thought of learning to quilt but this sounds like just the thing…I can make something for Daisy and maybe reclaim MY favorite blanky from her! I just hope my neighbor will let me use her sewing machine!

The Craftsy Block of the Month is a completely free, year-long online class instructed by expert quilter, Amy Gibson. There are 12 installments, each one posted on the first day of every month. The first 10 months/installments teach students two new exciting blocks in each lesson (brand new designs or funky spins on traditional blocks). The last two months are dedicated to finishing the quilt.

At the end of the class, you will have full-size and one-of-a-kind quilt. Like all of Craftsy’s classes, students can view lessons whenever it’s convenient, and can watch them however many times you’d like. Filmed in high-definition, and fully interactive—you can ask Amy questions as you go.
