Pawalla Boxes for Dogs and Cats

Regular readers know that Daisy LOVES to try new treats, foods and toys, but buying individual items at retail store prices can get pricey.  So we were thrilled when we were invited to try Pawalla, a monthly service that sends a box of 6 or more full-size items, at a great low price, to lucky dogs and cats across the US! When you signup, you receive a monthly mystery box of all-natural foods and treats plus a great toy or other surprise that have all been hand-picked based on the size and age of your fur kid.

Daisy Exploring her Pawalla Box

When our box arrived, Daisy couldn’t wait to figure out how to get into it! I couldn’t believe how huge the box was! I’m a fan of mystery boxes and I can tell you that this one is larger than many I’ve seen! Once open, it was just about impossible to get photos before Daisy nosed her way in and started poking around. It was like Christmas in July (and once again confirms Daisy’s theory that the UPS man works for HER).

In addition to being nicely packaged, I really liked the product descriptions and details on the large fact sheet that was included. It’s fun to get a big box of stuff, but it’s important to me that I know about where the products come from and what ingredients are used before giving new food or treats to Daisy. To their credit, Pawalla uses holistic and all-natural products selected by their own personal Pet Nutritionist, Dr. Susan Lauten.  And everything we received was made in the USA!

There are 2 ways to join and start receiving your own box of yum and fun from Pawalla: The  Monthly Subscription option bills you monthly and you can cancel any time ($26/month) or The Annual Subscription which is billed once a year and is discounted to give you 2 months free ($21/month). Either way, you’ll receive a Pawalla Box featuring a selection of delicious wet foods, treats, supplements, and more, hand-picked by their pet nutritionist based on the size and age of your pet.  Shipping is always free, and whether you have an annual or monthly subscription, you can cancel at any time.

Because Daisy likes to share her favorite things with her pals and fans, we’re passing along a special discount exclusively for Woof Woof Mama readers! Get 20% Off your first month’s order when you use Pawalla Coupon Code: WOOFWOOF. Just start at Pawalla.com and answer the questions about your dog or cat as you complete the quick and easy customized signup!

Remember, Pawalla offers monthly boxes for both dogs AND cats! And the food and nutritional products are all-natural and selected by their pet nutritionist. If you are curious, you can take a sneak peek inside a Pawalla Box for Cats and scope out the contents of a Pawalla Box for Dogs here!

Disclosure: We were sent review products for Daisy to try so that we could tell you about our experience with them. We were not told what to say, and all opinions are 100% mine and Daisy’s!

Comments

  1. I’ve been seeing a lot of doggie sample box reviews around lately (I’m jealous….nobody’s asked me to review one yet!) and the fact that this one is full sized items is a definite draw.

  2. We just tried BarkBox, which is a similar service, but we didn’t get near as many goodies for our money.

  3. It says the coupon code is not valid

    • Thanks! I’ll find out why it’s not working and email/post a reply with an update!

    • Just heard back and it’s working…tested it again myself and it’s taking off the 20% when you enter code WOOFWOOF

Let me know if you still have trouble!

      • When I entered WOOFWOOF where it says “coupon code” it this is what I get: Coupon code “WOOFWOOF ” is not valid. I copied and pasted, so I don’t know why it’s not working.

        • OK, I did it in lower case letters in it worked!

        • Did you put 1 box in your cart? My cart shows “Monthly Subscription 1” $26.00 then when I apply the coupon it shows  $20.80 for the grand total. It’s for the first month’s order only so I don’t think it works if anything else is in your cart. Let me know!

  4. Hi, how did you get the opportunity to review this box?  I’d love to do the same on my own blog!  I’m new to blogging, so any tips would be great!

    • Hi Holly! I started by reviewing stuff that Daisy liked whenever we got a new toy or treat as a gift or on sale, and just kept at it. If you blog consistently, and grow your fans and followers, over time brands will invite you to try their products! You can also join groups like BzzAgent, Influenster, VocalPoint and CrowdTap for opportunities to do product sampling.

  5. I have been doing some research on these monthly dog boxes. I don’t understand how these companies can be making any money. Shipping alone has to be around $10, and even at wholesale prices the items and shipping would be near or over  $26 cost to the company. How do they do it?
