Velveeta,  3, passed beginner class, needs more training

  3. Valerie Simko says

Cooper is 22 months-old (almost 2 years-old) and he’s taken a training course before: puppy school!

  4. Great prizes

  5. I literally have the worlds worst dog! She’s a 9 month Husky named Lilly. She’s chewed shoes to a lost count of paper towel rolls she’s eaten. Im sworn to believe my dog understands a different language other then English. She very adorable but will not listen! Petco hates giving her bathes! I was told she’s too active and does not listen. Of course I never got a call back for her next bath appointment. She’s very friendly but that noggin of hers has it’s own mind! Help!!!

    • You should definitely talk to the trainers at your local PetSmart. And also, most local Humane Societies have behavioral support and low-cost classes, too. They want to help make every dog a good dog so people are less likely to surrender them for being “bad dogs”. Daisy still has her moments, for sure, but I was so surprised at what a difference a training class made. It’s for the human as much as for the animal! LOL

  6. My dog is call Batman and he has 1 year and 8 months I have never take him to a training class!

  7. Tiffany King says

My Daisy Mae needs to work on stay when the door opens so she won’t run out of the house and across the street to see the neighbor dog. She barely escaped being hit once already!

  8. Dot, our 6 year old Brittany has taken multiple classes at our dog training club. Right now we are in Agility prep (the very basic starter agility class). Taco, our 1 year old pit mix has not taken any, but he will be in our sub-novice class shortly. 🙂

  9. Heather Hayes Panjon says

Rascal Is Almost 2 And Simon Is 3 I Have Never Taken Them To Training Classes.

  10. Lila is two years old and I have never taken her to training classes!

  11. My dog has never had trained with them, or at all…thank you for this chance.

  12. We’ve been trying to scrap together money to put Freyja through puppy classes, but they are expensive when in school and part-time jobs. This would be such a blessing if we were able to have these classes.

  13. Danielle Murgia says

My Sissy is 5.  We have never taken a training class because I got her as an adult dog.  We have learned some tricks and commands but would love to have her learn more!

  14. I love PetSmart and wow, do we a training class! LOL!!

  15. Linda Szymoniak says

Well, I have five dogs, all Treeing Walker Coonhounds.   I adopted my senior girl, Suki, 11-1/2 years ago (she’ll be 13 next month) and she is very well mannered.  My other four, Ran (4), Kenji (4), Kyoko (4-1/2) and Seiji (3-1/2) were all adopted within 1-1/2 years of each other, and because of that, while I HAVE worked with them on some basic commands and behavior, a couple of them could really use a little more – and classes like this is just what I’d love to take them to.  As rescue dogs that came from kill shelters and with no idea of their history before then, Kenji, Kyoko, and Seiji had to learn how to live in a house and be with people as family.  My Ran came from a small, rural rescue and was dumped there just four days after her 3-month birthday, since the original adopter(s) had it confirmed by their vet that she is deaf.  I’d also love to take her to training classes – in part to work with her on her commands, etc. and in part to show others just how amazing deaf dogs can be.

  16. Roxy, my 10 month old dobe puppy needs more training desperately!

  17. MIchelle Castagne says

His name is Harley and he is 2 years old. The only training he’s had is at home. He needs more training!

  18. Cheryl Chervitz says

I have a 8 and 9 year old Boston Terrier, male and female.   They are Junebug and Adrianne.   Neither has had training that I know of, we rescued both of them.

  19. My new dog is 4 years old and she was a rescue, so I would like to get her in a class

  20. We are actually JUST about to adopt a dog from the city rescue, so I don’t know the name or age yet 🙂 That is why we will DEFINITELY be needing all of the prizes here. I am so excited to take on this responsibility, and we are very determined to learn how to properly train him/her

  21. sandy weinstein says

i have 3 girls, the middle child had training classes, but it was not that good, she was already advanced more than the other dogs in her class

  22. Ms Gretchen Ann Luper says

My dog is Misty and she’s a 6 month old black lab/shepherd. She has had no formal training and she really needs it. We’ve had to make her an outside dog because she has been so difficult to train.

  23. I have too many to list, and it changes all the time since I do rescue. I always have someone who needs help with behavior issues.

  24. We did three different series of training classes at PetsMart with Neeko, and I really liked the set up and our trainer, particularly.

  25. michelle cavanaugh says

Grumbles 11 months, haven’t taken her yet but Sierra, 5, went to puppy class

  26. I have 3 dogs ages 8, 6, and 5. We have taken them all to obedience class, our youngest Abbey, could use a refresher course.

  27. I have a smedium-sized Silky Terrier mix that is 2 1/2 years old named Marco, and a 1 1/2 year old mix of sorts named Toki. I have not had the money available to put them in training classes.

  28. Ashley Fryer says

Zeus is 8, Oliver is 7, and Diesel is 1. Zeus is the only one who has ever been to a class

  29. Danielle Porter says

Samantha is 3 and  a half, so the pound says. . .We have never been to a class with her but would LOVE to!

  30. We were in puppy classes at PetSmart before Mohinder had to take medical leave due to swallowing a toy! We can’t wait to go back. He loves Zukes and I am interested in training with the clicker. He is food motivated so I think it would work well with him!

  31. RUckus the Eskie, age 2.5. No training class. Self trained at home!

  32. Jazmine (6) has been to basic obedience but Oliver (7) hasn’t had any classes. They both pull like crazy on their leashes & go bananas when they see other animals (Oliver goes particularly crazy over cats)! Jazmine also has fear issues & barks at people who approach her.

  33. I’m not sure which dog I would use the training for. Chester is 11 and never taken a training class. He’s pretty mellow and generally a good dog. Gretel is 4 and had a puppy training class. She has a little bit of fear agression though.

  34. Buddy is a 1 year lab mix who has not had any training yet, but really needs it.  We cant even take him on walks.  So this would be wonderful to have some professional help to get him trained!

  35. Marti Tabora says

My dog is a German Shepard/Rottweiler mix and his name is Bullet.  He is 11 months old and has not had any formal training.  I have taught him to sit and lie down, but he is terrible on the leash and I’m struggling to teach him that.  Thank you for the chance.

  36. I have an 8 week old Boxer pup named Violet. I have never participated in a training course and am interested in doing so. I have a senior rescued shin tsu who came to us already trained. I’m looking for some assistance in raising a polite obedient dog.

  37. Olive is a 2 1/2 year old schnoodle. We’ve done a beginner class and she was great, but it’s time to get to the more complicated stuff (and maybe brush up on all the things the human folk haven’t been practicing…)!

  38. It is my daughter’s dog who is 1 1/2 years old and her name is Kyla.

  39. Angela Higdon says

    Bowser,  10 weeks old!

  40. Marilyn Nawara says

Fang is about 1 year old and is a very active Westie

  41. My two year old rotty needs to learn recall.

  42. We have an 10 week old Lab named Biskit (long story….lol). He hasn’t done any training class yet but we are definitely looking into it.

  43. Scrappy, our two-year old APBT, is very good natured. However, he only had four or five classes at the local  humane society and could use more obedience training. He was the best in his class at going through tunnels and across boards, etc., so I really hope I will be able to afford to have him in agility classes at some point in the future.

  44. I have eight dogs, three of which are rescues.  My rescues are a long hair chihuahua , a sheltie, and a pit bull and my others are all shelties.  I’ve trained all of them myself.  I have done training classes but not with any of the current dogs.  My shelties can be a little barky when it comes to strangers and loud noises but they are a herding breed.  The one I am having trouble with it one of my youngest.  His sister is one of the best puppies I’ve ever had.  She’s been my constant shadow since she was big enough to chase after me and learned a lot just from watching my oldest dog, which she did constantly.  You can tell she watched her as they have many similar mannerisms….but back to my naughty one.  He’s very intelligent, you can just tell he’s thinking about stuff but he also likes to be naughty.  His big problem is not coming.  It’s not that he doesn’t know how, I can whisper the word ice cream which is his doggie frozen yoghurt and his all time favorite treat and he will immediately stop and run to me….otherwise he’s not interested in me.  I will admit to resulting to bribery, especially when he’s outside and I need him to come in then….  But I’ve tried everything with this naughty baby.  He’s two years old now and listens much better than he did about six months ago so he’s growing out of his nastiness but could still benefit from some help.  Something I haven’t tried yet is clicker training, which I’m curious about….  The thing is, he doesn’t need the basic stuff that training classes offer, he just needs help with recall.  I’d love to win the training prize for him and others, my little rescue chi could benefit from some of the basics training….he’s very good at coming when called, but he’s a constant blur of motion the rest of the time.  Oh, why can’t they all be the perfect angel that my oldest dog is?  Lol thanks for the chance to win

  45. Jennifer P - Vicki Furrin on Rafflecopter says

My baby, Vicki, will be 12 in March.  I had a trainer come out and do some classes with her and her brother when I first got them, about 11.5 years ago.  Since her brother unexpected died a couple years ago, she’s become quite agressive with other dogs especially when we’re at the park walking.  Thanks for the giveaway.

  46. My little guy’s name is Graham. He’s 13 months, a chocolate lab and german shorthaired pointer mix. He’s extremely obedient, so we haven’t done a class yet, but i would love to take him to one just to reinforce some of the commands. He’s a rescue that we adopted as a companion animal for my boyfriend, who is a wounded warrior. I can’t imagine our life without him!

  47. Shiloh is 4 years old and we’ve taken lots of training classes- mostly at PetSmart. We started in puppy class and went through Intermediate and Advanced, as well as Click-a-trick. Many of us were still itching for more, and our trainer made up “Super Secret Advanced II” for us since we’d run out of classes to take. She’s developing Advanced 3 and Click a Trick 2 for us now =) Shiloh also takes agility classes and attends agility seminars when we can, and I do lots of training on my own.

  48. Megan Phillips says

My dogs names are Bullet and Pistol Pete. Bullet is 6 and Pistol Pete is 7. They are both pugs. I’ve never taken either one of them to any type of training or obedience classes.

  49. Robin Abrams says

My dogs name is Jazz she is a puggle . She is 1 yr old. She has never been to a obedience class but she sure can use one.

  50. My dogs name is Atlas and he is a Great Dane. He is almost 6 months old. He has never been to any kind of training but he DEFINITELY needs some. He is very smart but he is the most STUBBORN dog I know!

  51. Kaiah is 3 years old and has taken various training classes and is CGC certified. We are working on agility and off-leash work at the moment.

  52. Kelly Ann T. says

Artie is about 3. I have never taken a class with him.  I have taught him to come when he is at home, but out and about is different. I don’t know how to stop him from barking.

  53. Woofgang needs a training refresher. He’s been a tiny bit naughty since bringing home his new brother.

  54. Linda Szymoniak says

Was a winner ever announced?  It’s not on the Rafflecopter.

    • Yes Linda, winners are confirmed. I just forgot to click the announcement button in Rafflecopter…thanks for the reminder!
