Military Working Dogs have saved thousands of American lives since WWII, and at the same time provided companionship and support to our active duty service people. For the first time in U.S. Military history, working dogs have been elevated to National Monument status by congressional law (Public Law 110-181, Section 2877).

The bronze statues of the four primary dog breeds (Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, and Belgian Malinois) and dog handler will represent the crucial part dogs played in four major conflict periods: World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The National Monument will be dedicated in October 2013 at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, where the military working dog teams are trained.

Help Natural Balance and Petco Foundation raise One Million Dollars for the monument:

All proceeds from the sale of 12 oz. Natural Balance Limited Edition Jerky Bark Treats at Petco will be donated to fund this national monument honoring Military Working Dogs!
