I’d heard about Care.com from friends who used it to find a tutor, nanny, housekeeper, baby sitter or caregiver for a senior member of the family but I didn’t realize that they also have a section especially for finding Pet Care people in your neighborhood! When you Join Care.com for Free you get access to reviews from moms and pet parents like you, background checks, referrals and more. You can also apply for jobs if you are an experienced pet or human caregiver, sitter, housekeeper or tutor. I’m headed over to check it out!

Free Purina Health & Wellness App for iPhone and Android!
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Triad Retail Media for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
As I’m sure you know by now, I think of myself as Daisy’s mom, not her owner, and like all moms I consider it part of my job to make sure my family stays healthy and well organized. I mean think about it, in addition to hair cuts and doctor’s appointments and play dates, there’s also keeping track of who is allergic to what and when the little one is due for their next round of booster shots…and THAT’S just for the fur kids!
I was super excited to discover a cool new phone app that helps a mom out: the Purina Pet Health App. It’s like a Personal Assistant and Professional Organizer all-in-one!
Have trouble remembering when the next veterinarian’s appointment is? Enter it and you won’t forget it! Want a reminder when it’s time to visit the groomer? No problem! I like that you can even enter your pet’s own specific health history information and notes about their medical needs. I never CAN find that sticky note where I wrote down how much Pepcid the doc said to give Daisy when she gets an upset tummy! Well, now I don’t have to worry about it. I can add notes to my phone when the vet gives me instructions or advice.
I also really like that when we are traveling, I can use the Pet Health App to find a vet or pet hospital in case of emergency. And since the app lets you load in multiple pets, I’m thinking of adding the info for Daisy’s boyfriend Fin, and her other pals that I sometimes sit for or walk when their parents are busy!
The app is available for both Android and iPhone operating systems and you can get the FREE download here!
$5 Credit = $8 for a Crinkits Water Bottle Toy for Dogs!
This is the first time I’m seeing this cool toy and all I can say is “Why didn’t I think of THAT!?!” I don’t know any dog who doesn’t love empty water bottles but they chew them to pieces pretty quickly, and those pieces aren’t safe…but this protective barrier solves that problem. Put one of these Crinkits over your empty water bottle and it becomes a floatable, chewable, 100% non-toxic, natural, recyclable toy for dogs over 20 pounds!
Today’s DoggyLoot deal is for one Crinkits Water Bottle Toy for $13. If you are new to DoggyLoot you can join using this link and get $5 instant credit to spend on your first deal! That makes this a steal at $8 plus nominal shipping charge. Pick your color at checkout: pink, blue, green, or “glow” (it glows in the dark!)
