We celebrate that day Latte was sprung from the puppy mill (X years as a free chihuahua!) and then the day I decided to keep her 🙂
I tell her the story of her long journey she took to become part of our family: 4.5 years in the sad & scary mill, a long truck ride across the country, her escape and recapture, her adventures at two foster homes before mine, an adoption, a return, another foster home (where the people didn’t listen to us!), a stint with another volunteer until I returned from holidays out of state, and then finally, my decision to officially adopt her!
So wonderful! I love hearing everyone’s gotcha stories, thanks for sharing Carrie!
