Molly, along with her faithful pup, Joey, is out to teach the world all about puppy mills and why you shouldn’t shop at pet stores that sell puppies.

I recently shared the news with you about the ASPCA Rachael Ray 100K Challenge, which is the fourth annual nationwide challenge in which shelters around the country race to save more lives. The 100K Challenge enlists 50 competing animal shelters to spend the period from June 1 – August 31 working to increase their adoption numbers over the same period last year. The winning shelter will receive a $100,000 grant from the ASPCA and Rachael Ray to continue its life-saving work, and other contestants will vie for a chance to bring home some of nearly $500,000 in additional grant prizes. You can get involved and help support the participating shelter contestants by spreading the word and encouraging everyone you know to adopt at a shelter near them!
