Dahna Bender Christmas Music CD

Here’s a great gift idea that supports a fantastic animal cause! It’s a Christmas Music CD from Dahna Bender. This talented artist is using her beautiful voice to support National Mill Dog Rescue (NMDR). Profits from her Christmas Giving of the Heart album go to support the work and mission of NMDR to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home discarded puppy mill dogs and to educate the general public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry.

I’ve been getting in the holiday spirit listening to the Christmas classics on this CD, including Silent Night, Winter Wonderland and lots more long-time favorites plus a few that were new to me.  Here’s the back cover from the album jacket so you can view the full list of songs:

Christmas music always makes a thoughtful gift, but this one is truly a special one because it supports a cause so near and dear to all of us pet parents. The album is available on Amazon and you can learn more about the artist, her background and work, at dahnabender.com.

You can also connect with Dahna and listen to some of the songs from the album on her Facebook Page.

We won’t bore you with all the details, which mainly involve me doing my Hip Hop Abs DVD in the living room while Daisy laughed at me, but I did want to make sure to share this cool free phone app I discovered recently called Charity Miles.

You can use it to earn free donations for your favorite charity when you walk, run or bike! Choose from ASPCA, Habitat for Humanity, The Nature Conservancy and loads more worthwhile causes and not only does this app track your miles but it also makes a donation on your behalf. It’s as easy as this: get moving. Bikers earn 10¢ a mile and walkers and runners earn 25¢ a mile!

Charity Miles is a free app available for both Apple and Android devices.  Visit their website or check out this video to learn more:

Imagine how much money we could raise for charity if all the K9 Kampers use this cool app! Be sure to leave us a comment letting us know how you’re doing with this month’s fitness challenge. Then head on over to K9 Kamp HQ and enter to win some paw-tastic prizes for participating!
