What’s better than one adorable dog? FIVE! That’s how many dog finalists there are in the BJ’s Wholesale Club Great Pet Search Contest, and we need your help to choose the winner.

It’s super quick and easy, and after you vote for the dog of your choice, you can also vote to help choose the winning cat as well.

Winning cat and dog receive:

  • A special edition Berkley Jensen dog or cat food with their face on it
  • The winning dog and cat will be in various BJ’s pet marketing materials for up to one year
  • A year’s supply of Berkley Jensen line dog or cat food

$150,000 Grant for your Local Shelter

Animal lovers, visit ASPCA.org/150days and pledge at least 15 minutes of your time between now and September 7 to help animals in need. The goal is to reach a total of 150,000 actions for animals across the nation in just 150 days.

Ways to participate include volunteering at a local shelter, donating, fostering, adopting a shelter pet, spreading the word through social media and in person and more. Log your good deeds and you’ll be given the opportunity to nominate YOUR favorite animal shelter to receive a grant prize of $150,000!

ASPCA Coupon Challenge

From paper towels to pens and cat litter, most animal shelters could use just about everything. The challenge? Use your bargain shopping skills to shop for shelter supplies! Then snap a photo of the goods you scored, or the moment you arrive at the shelter with your generous donation—and enter here! Top five photos will win BIG!

All submissions will be featured in a special online album—and the top five winners will receive an oversized ASPCA shopping tote full of swag! Enter the ASPCA Coupon Challenge on Facebook by 6/1/12!

Not interested in the photo contest? You can still use your bargain-shopping prowess to help make a difference! The ASPCA has teamed up with TLC’s “Extreme Couponing” and are encouraging shoppers to use coupons to help their local animal shelters. Many animal shelters can benefit from items like:
•       Pet food and pet treats
•       Pet toys – chew toys, rawhides, rope toys, feather toys, treat toys and ball toys
•       Pet care supplies – leashes, collars, litter, litter boxes, and scratching posts
•       Pet bedding – dog and cat beds and towels
•       Operational supplies – garbage bags, newspapers, cleaning products, paper towels, office supplies
