Some posts may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

We’re back with our latest BarkBox review where we show you everything Daisy got in her monthly delivery of dog toys, treats and surprises. February is all about Valentine’s Day and romance, and BarkBox did not disappoint. The theme of this month’s box is Dinner Dates — perfect for a night in with your furry sweetheart, so grab your main squeeze and get cozy. We’re spicing things up with an inside look at this month’s BarkBox for dogs.

As with each month’s dog subscription box from BarkBox, this one included 2 fun toys inspired by the theme, plus 2 full-size bags of dog treats and a tasty meat chew. You can expect a value of $30-$40 worth of dog toys and treats in each month’s BarkBox, for as low as $21/month including Free US Shipping. Read on to see what we thought of our February BarkBox.

Daisy gets the large dog box which is shown in all our BarkBox reviews, but whatever size your dog is, they will get the same number of toys and treats in appropriate sizes. Treats are also customized based on whether you specify food allergies in your dog’s BarkBox profile.

Okay Hot Stuff, we hope you’ll stay for our BarkBox review but if you are just here for the BarkBox coupon, promo code WOOFWOOFMAMA will get you a FREE extra month added to any order of 1-month or more at BarkBox.com/woofwoofmama.

February BarkBox Dog Toys

Bae Rito Dog Toy ($10 retail value) I will snuggle up to a burrito any day of the week! This one is a super adorable dog toy with a special surprise inside.

Hot Stuff Dog Toy ($10 retail value) This spicy toy is a big bottle of hot sauce stuffed with a giant squeaker, some crinkle material, and a t-shirt rope for tugging. He even has a “chewtrition” label on his back!

You can really see how much detail, thought and creativity go into the design of each BarkBox dog toy. Always super cute and unique, the BarkBox folks never fail to surprise and delight us with something new in each month’s box. Not every dog gets the same toys in their BarkBox, so here’s a look at some of the variations. Love is definitely on the menu!

February BarkBox Dog Treats

Simple Pork Cuts Dog Treats ($5 retail value) All-natural and grain-free, made in the USA with a single protein source. Nice size, chewy strips.

Simple Lamb Bites Dog Treats ($5 retail value) Made with only two ingredients: freeze-dried lamb and natural pea protein. These are crunchy little bites that are great as training treats.

Pork Stick for Dogs ($3 retail value) Every BarkBox includes one meaty chew stick each month. This simple pork chew is made in the USA with natural ingredients including Pork, Chickpeas, Pea Flour and Coconut.

Part of what we love about getting BarkBox is the fun little extras that are included to match the theme. This one is an adorable sign you can fill out to pose with your dinner date for a photo. Great for sharing on social media or just for capturing the special memory.

This month’s BarkBox was love at first sight, but if you ever receive a toy or treat that doesn’t make you happy or that isn’t suitable for your dog, know that BarkBox will send you a FREE replacement with no questions asked. You don’t even have to send back the unwanted item. They encourage you to donate or share it, and will send you a replacement more to your dog’s liking! It’s part of their Scout’s Honor Satisfaction Guarantee that comes with every delivery.

BarkBox Cost and Value

By our calculation, this month’s BarkBox had $33 worth of dog toys and  treats if you were to purchase them all separately.

That’s a great value when you consider that subscription prices start at $21/month with free US Shipping. And WAY cheaper than a real spa day!

In addition to saving money, we also love the WOW-factor and excitement of getting a new delivery of surprises each month. It’s a chance to discover new dog treats and toys that we might not have known about otherwise. And the BarkBox toys are really Instagram-worthy, making them the perfect photo props in addition to some amazing and unique dog toys!

Don’t Miss These Whole Foods Pet Deals When You Order Groceries Online

Some posts may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

I frequently order grocery delivery online, usually from Whole Foods since prices are the same online as in-store, and there are no delivery fees or surcharges for Amazon Prime Members. Since I’ve been following a plant-based diet and prefer to buy organic as much as possible, I find the prices at Whole Foods to be very competitive and there is always a good selection.

As I was placing a recent order, I noticed LOTS of great deals on pet food, treats and supplies that you can add to your next grocery order. Often, the Whole Foods price is LESS than the regular Amazon price, with the added benefit of same-day, 2-hour delivery. Your dog can get their Froyo delivered…does it get any better than that?!?

Whole Foods grocery delivery is free with $35+ order for Prime Members. Not a member? Go HERE for a Free 30 Day Trial.

With COVID cases on the rise, it’s even more important now to socially distance and stay home when possible. Why not avoid a trip to the store, stock up on groceries AND reward your pet with some treats! Deliveries are left on your porch for zero contact, unless you order alcohol, as you’ll be required to show ID in most cases.

Below are a few examples to keep in mind next time you need to order groceries for your family, and this link takes you directly to entire Whole Foods Pet Department.

Note: prices are based on my location. Grocery prices may vary by location and might even be less where you are. Please remember to tip your driver well! You can adjust the tip right in the app prior to ordering.

Clorox Disinfecting Spray In-Stock Alert!

Some posts may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

In yesterday’s post about shopping online during coronavirus, I mentioned that Clorox made a pet formula of disinfecting spray that’s on the EPA list of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Fighting Products. I didn’t want to post a shopping link til I received my order and verified it was the correct formula and is still in stock.

Great news! I got my Petco order today and not only is it the approved version of the spray but it’s also still in stock as I write this quick alert.

There are 2 different versions that both are listed the same, so be sure you use this link and look at the photo of the product to make sure you see the words Advanced Formula on the label. It should be $6.99 right now on sale from $12.99.

The product description reads “Clorox Pet Solutions Advanced Formula Disinfecting Stain & Odor Remover has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to SARS-CoV-2 (formerly known as 2019-nCoV) on hard, non-porous surfaces. Therefore, these products can be used against SARS CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against rhinovirus on hard, non-porous surfaces.”

See screenshot above or look the product up on the EPA website for more information about Clorox Pet Solutions Advanced Formula Disinfecting Spray and Coronavirus.

Hurry on over using this link and order Clorox Pet Solutions Advanced Formula Disinfecting Stain & Odor Remover before it sells out! There is currently a limit of 2 per order. You’ll need to add some other items to reach the minimum $35+ cart total to get free shipping, so grab some pet food, dog treats, flea & tic prevention, shampoo, or other stuff your dog or cat will use.

Although it’s listed as a stain and odor remover, it says it’s safe for furniture. I just tested it on our counter tops and it didn’t leave any sticky residue, so it will also be good for disinfecting grocery items such as cans, packaging and boxes, plus other object that come in from the outside. If you have specialty counter tops you may need to check before purchasing. It’s bleach free, made with hydrogen peroxide. It’s also approved for carpet, tile, grout and finished hardwood floors. Obviously, it’s safe for homes with pets, and smells great, too!

In this order, I also got Daisy some Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Dog Treats and Plato Pets Hundur’s Crunch Jerky Fingers made with 100% fish.

I ordered on Saturday and go it today, Wednesday with the standard free shipping option, so Petco shipping is very fast right now! This Clorox spray is sure to sell out quickly so hurry on over to this page on Petco.com and snag two bottles while you can!

Some posts may contain affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

If your dog needs an extra challenge or if their dog toys never seem to last, then you’ll want to know about a BarkBox service that’s designed especially for them. It’s BarkBox Super Chewer, the monthly subscription box for dogs with the longest lasting chews and the most durable dog toys around. It’s NOT just for big dogs either…each membership is customized for your dog’s size and allergies, too.

Just as with the standard BarkBox subscription, the Super Chewer BarkBox has a different theme each month, with a creative selection of dog toys, treats and surprises. This month’s theme is straight out of Chewrassic Bark, and packed full with 2 heavy-duty dog toys plus 4 different dog treats. A GREAT deal considering box prices start at $29/month with FREE US shipping!

Here’s what was in the June Super Chewer BarkBox, along with retail value of each item if purchased separately:

BarkBox Super Chewer Dog Toys

  • PetProjekt DogEgg ($14 retail value) This fun toy is made of non-toxic rubber and is designed for heavy chewers. It wobbles. It bounces. It makes noise. It delights dogs of all kinds with its strong build and loud squeak.

BarkBox Super Chewer Dog Treats and Chews

  • Dinosaur Meat, Basically ($8 retail value) Sweet potato and chicken dog treats. Made in the USA and wheat/gluten-free.
  • Lava Biscuits ($6 retail value) Hearty oats, scrumptious pork, with sweet apples and honey. A little bit of charcoal to make them black like real lava chunks!

  • Pork Roll Chew for Dogs ($4 retail value) 6″ of 100% pork made in the USA by Sawmill Creek Smokehouse. It’s a super satisfying and long-lasting dog chew.

Super Chewer BarkBox Cost and Value

As I mentioned earlier, the BarkBox Super Chewer subscription prices start at $29/month. A great value considering that the total retail value of items in this box is $49. It will vary from month to month but we’ve always been pleased. In addition to the quality and originality of the BarkBox toys and treats, we love the surprise of a new theme each month.
