Sweet Relish: The Secret Sauce of Shopping Plus Sweet Rewards for Rescue Dogs!

Daisy and I have been taste-testing a yummy new site called Sweet Relish. It’s a shopping site, but it’s also so much more. It’s the Secret Sauce of shopping! In addition to telling you all about it, we’ve also got a special opportunity to help our favorite local rescue group earn donations from Sweet Relish, so please be sure to keep reading…

Discover, Share and Shop with Sweet Relish

Sweet Relish helps you to create lists, browse, and buy products you love. What makes it so special is that, similar to the way Pinterest works, you can share your lists with friends, and view lists created by other people, which is a sure way to discover sweet new stuff you didn’t even know about!  Whenever you find an item online that you might want to buy in the future, you just click the relish button in your browser and add the item to one of your shopping lists. You can also use it to make a wish list if you want to drop some hints to a special someone about what to get you for your birthday or other special occasion.

And speaking of a special someone, meet Luther! Isn’t he gorgeous??? He’s a rescue dog, saved from death row and being cared for by Have a Heart rescue group in South Florida. Luther is a Lab/Hound mix…just like what we guess Daisy to be (she’s a rescue dog, too), and we really hope someone will adopt him soon and make him a part of their forever family. He’s about three and we hear he’s great with kids!

Take Home List for Adopted Shelter Dogs

I’m using Sweet Relish to create the perfect “Take Home List” for Luther, so when he gets adopted, his new family will know about some very special items to help him feel comfortable as he adjusts to his new life and home. It actually makes a great guide for anyone adopting a rescue dog…getting so close to death row, and spending so much time in shelters and foster homes, these dogs deserve some special care! I based my list on our own experiences adopting Daisy and included some items we found helpful in her adjustment, as well as some new items worth trying.

Pinterest for Beginners: Free Kindle Edition ($2.99 reg)

Pinterest for Beginners

Two things I love are Pinterest and FREE e-books from Amazon! Today I spotted Pinterest For Beginners, Kindle Edition which is usually $2.99 and is currently being offered for $0.00.

If you’ve been missing all the PIN-tastic fun because you just weren’t sure how to get started with Pinterest, make sure you download this book while it’s free. Be sure to check the total before completing your “purchase” since Amazon rotates which books they are giving away every few days. I just snagged this one myself, so I can’t tell you much about it yet, except the reviews are great!

Don’t worry if you don’t have a Kindle. You can read Kindle editions on any smartphone, iPad or tablet, PC, Laptop or other web-enabled device. All you need is a free Kindle Reading App for your Windows, Apple or Android device!
